Happy New Year everyone! It’s the beginning of a new decade! Goodbye 2019 and hello 2020!
I thought I would kick start my year sharing my winter beauties that have been with me on my travels throughout the year and winter months.
First on my list of must haves is the Schwarzkopf got2b Oil-licious styling oil. You may have read my previous in my previous haircare post that I use oil in my hair all the time. I have since changed brands but my method of applying oil to my hair is still the same. The smell of this oil is amazing and it’s not at all greasy.
I do sometimes put olive oil or vegetable oil in my hair if I am running low on product, as any oil really does make your hair super shiny and keeps it healthy too, but this product is so affordable and can be picked up at any high street beauty shop.
To ensure my make up stays as fresh as possible, I have use the Urban Decay “All nighter” setting spray after my make-up applications. This helps when I have had to make quick changes from day to night (particularly in the busy month of December) with no time in between to touch up my make-up. It works a treat and lasts the whole day/night. No stickiness or residue. It dries fast.
My forever favourite is Garnier’s Micellar Water. I also shared a post about my beauty tips and tricks and mentioned micellar water in that post too. It my absolute saviour. It removes my make-up with ease and also prepares my skin for the day ahead. I can never really remove my mascara properly in the shower, I always come out of the bathroom looking like a panda. Mark without fail points out that my eyes are black as I exit the bathroom.
Hair and body mist by The White Company was a gift from my lovely sister-in-law (Thank you, mwah) I just love the smell. It’s bergamot, amber and vanilla. I used this scent at Mark’s son’s wedding in December. It was the perfect scent for me for the celebration. I will definitely be purchasing more of this once it’s empty.
Organic Eyelash and Eyebrow growth oil by Nativis has helped me during the winter months keep my eyelashes and eyebrows healthy and long.
Made organically in the beautiful country of Wales, this product is a must have, if like me, you over-plucked your eyebrows in the 1990’s (That was fashionable then to have thin eyebrows). It will bring back your eyebrows in no time. For more details on where you can purchase Nativis products, here’s the link Buy now.
All of the above are below 100ml and can be easily transported on your travels. I keep mine in my Melita Latham London Backpack when I am travelling, in particular flying. I am confident you too will love these products if you don’t use them already.
Keep an eye out for new posts coming this January! I’ll be sharing some great tips on Fashion, beauty, food and travel.
Happy New Year Everyone! All the best for 2020!
With Love Mel x
