If there is any day to have a duvet day it’s most definitely today.
With storm Dennis well and truly here I am currently sat in the living room with my feet up wearing my Jeep style socks whilst Mark is asleep.
He has his head resting on the welsh dragon cushion propped up by another pink cushion. He’ll get neck ache but he looks so peaceful there so I won’t disturb him. The log fire is roaring away along with the howling of the wind that Dennis the Menace is bringing.
For those of you that are having a duvet day today. I don’t blame you. It’s cold, wet and miserable out there. Better to be safe and warm. The news report states that it will be even worse than last weekends storm. We wasn’t here in the UK for the majority of the storm however, we did have a rather bumpy landing coming back from Palma, Mallorca.
Can you believe we are half way through February? I have barely achieved anything this month, well it feels like that. I do have a secret, but I won’t give too much away here on my Lifestyle section. Mark and I were in the press this week. Mark is starting to become a professional when it comes to making appearances in the news. We have some great snaps of which I’ll share next week.
Valentine’s Day has been and gone. I am a very lucky lady. Mark sent a lovely bouquet of flowers to the office. I also had pre Valentine’s Day flowers that he kindly bought me. Hmmmm funny guy. To my delight, I received more unexpectedly. Did you have a nice Valentines’s day? What did you get up to?

Just a quick one today! Really to say ‘Hi’ and hope you are staying snuggled up on this rainy duvet day! 🙂 With Love Mel
