Goodman Restaurants- Mayfair

Food heaven alert! I have been to some amazing restaurants but this one by far has taken food to a whole new level.

Goodman Maddox Street Mayfair catered for my food needs and some. I mean every single mouthful I kept repeating to my friends saying all sorts like “this is delicious” and “oh this is so good” and I love it, this is amazing!! I seriously was enjoying it so much that I could have eaten two or three more dishes regardless of whether I was full. I just didn’t want it to end.

So, you can find Goodman Mayfair just off regent street and I have been to many restaurants around this area which you can read on my other posts of my dining experiences around London.

Goodman has a really cool vibe and the staff are so accommodating. You will find that I write posts on places I absolutely love and I felt that just posting pictures on Instagram and Twitter wasn’t enough for me. I wanted to explain in detail what Goodman has to offer.

Of course we had to have our usual red wine. I love a good bottle of red and believe me you won’t be short of choices here. The wine list is huge and so we were in our element.

Goodman is well know for its steaks, now I’m not a huge steak fan but my friends are and they were super excited when they were working out the size of these steaks they were about to devour.

Goodman offers US and UK meats sourced from farmers that the chefs have a good relationship with, so there you go. My friends were telling me how amazing US steak is. Like I mentioned I’m not really a steak eater so I couldn’t get into a debate about whether it is or isn’t the better steak as I wouldn’t know but they were telling me how good it is.

We decided our meal choices and I went for Spinach and ricotta ravioli, truffle, oven dried tomato, parmesan and pine nuts with sides of Mac and cheese (I know its another pasta dish) truffle chips, and dirty mash. We were sharing the sides so it wasn’t just for me. My friends had the amazing steak as they tell me but in all honestly I can believe it was amazing as so was mine.

Even though I ordered pasta I kid you not, it was the most mouthwatering pasta I have ever had in my life. I still keep thinking about it. It sounds crazy right that spinach and ricotta can actually be as amazing as I am saying it is. Please go try it for your starters. I have to go back myself and relive my food heaven experience.

Guess what, Goodman also have another two restaurants in London City and Canary Wharf so I’d love to know if you have had the same great tasting experience as me in the other restaurants.

What I also love about most top restaurants is the attention to detail for example the menu signs, the plates personalised and table settings here at the restuarant. I have a good eye for detail and pick up on things like this quite quickly.

The staff were extremely helpful and lovely and again the food was AMAZING! My mouth is watering now just thinking about it.
